Licensed Patents and Patent Applications Covered by NSA's License Agreement with Certicom
NSA has licensed certain patents and patent applications in
the field of elliptic curve cryptography from Certicom
Corporation, with the right to sublicense the same. NSA may grant a nonexclusive,
nontransferable, worldwide, royalty-free license under the Licensed Patents and
Patent Applications within the Field of Use to make, use, sell, offer for sale,
and import Licensed Products and to practice the Licensed Processes in the
Field of Use.
"Licensed Patents and Patent Applications"means the
following United States and foreign patents and patent applications and any continuations,
continuations in part, divisions, reissues, reexaminations, issuances, and
foreign equivalents thereof:
